MINERALOGY: The galaxite is formed in manganese metamorphosed deposits with silicates and oxides of manganese. It is a kind of ore mineral oxides, and within it belongs to the group called spinel is composed in a 56.08% aluminum oxide, manganese oxide 36.96%, 4.62% Iron Oxide and 2.33% magnesium oxide. Aggregate granular crystals, usually reddish brown, brown, black. It is associated with minerals such as aragonite, barite, Galena, Calcite, jacobsite, pyrolusite Brucite, etc.
